These are the resources for Tea-time Church
for Action for Children
The theme for this
week: Decorating the tree
All the resources for this service are provided free of charge
courtesy of the Family Friendly Churches Trust. We
are pleased to offer these resources freely, but ask that they
only be used in services where there is a collection for Action for
Chuildren. We offer resources of
this quality all the year round , do take a look at them
This is a format of service that we offer monthly to
our subscribers and it can be run during the week or on a Saturday or
Sunday. We would generally reckon on it lasting a couple of hours wiith
each section lasting about half an hour. These resources can also
be used for Messy Church, Cafe Style Worship or All Age Services.

You’re the Greatest
Available as a bible-bop video with words and music - Download - Sample
The backing track is
distributed using PRS Licence LE-0013013. The words are
by © John Hardwick and used
with
permission. Please do not pass
it on outside
the IDEAS scheme and declare its use on your CCLI report.
We find that a bible-bop is a great way of moving from the games into
the worship. Children prefer this to singing and this will draw them to
the worship area. We suggest using it again after tea to draw people
back to the worship area. |

Craft
For the craft we
suggest making the decorations for the tree. We provide templates for
the different symbols of care. These can be decorated with foil,
colouring, glitter etc ready for placing onto the tree - Download

|
Tea
Why
not make this more of a Christmas tea, perhaps with mince pies,
Christmas cake, trifle, pork pies, ham, sandwiches, pizza, jelly and
ice cream. It might be a good idea to have some crackers
available. The Notes suggest a number of questions to start
conversations about the story.
