Projection Photos Most photographs on the internet are not particularly suitable for use as backgrounds to hymns. They often have too much detail and so can detract from words and even make the words impossible to read. This is particularly true if you are using PowerPoint. The photographs have been especially taken with the intent of being used as background for hymns and choruses. They have a large area of a single colour where the words can be placed, whilst the detail is kept to the edge of the image. This means that the picture can be used at full brightness and contrast whilst the words are still easily read. The pictures are at XVGA resolution and so will match the resolution of most projectors on the market today. Some work may have to be done with font colour, but normally either pure white or pure black works best. You are welcome to use these either in PowerPoint or a song presentation program. Simply click on an image to download the full image and then use "File>Save as ..." to save the image in the folder of you choice. Please feel free to download them and use them in worship. We make no charge for them at present All we ask is that you remember that the trust receives no block funding and depends totally on the money that we raise through our own efforts. There are a number of ways you can support the trust and ensure that we are able to continue providing resources for worship. The best way is to become an individual member of the trust. It is easy to join and then we will then notify you as each new video is listed. Alternatively do consider making a donation to the trust |
