Churches of all
denominations can join the Family Friendly Churches Trust.
Churches that join will receive
the following benefits:
-
An entry on this website,
giving information about the church and its worship, including a link
to the church's own website.
-
Permission to use the Family
Friendly Churches logo on all publicity material etc.
-
Membership of the Family
Friendly Churches egroup, which is there to share problems, ideas and
inspiration
-
Access to our very useful MIDI on demand service
-
The use, if wanted, of an
@FamilyFriendlyChurches.org.uk email address.
-
Special prices for the goods
and services offered by the trust
Membership costs just £25 a year.
However, we need to to ensure that
churches are (or have the intention to be) family friendly, so we ask
churches to take the following steps.
-
Firstly we would recommend
purchasing a copy of Mike's book, Building
Family Friendly Churches. This
will give churches guidance, help, support and ideas as they journey
towards being family friendly.
-
A church needs to formally
sign the Family Friendly Charter. You should sign two copies, sending
one to the trust and keeping the other for your church's records.
-
A church needs to complete the
Family Friendly Audit which will help you identify the areas where more
thinking and development may need to be done. Make a copy of this form
for your church and then send the original back to us.
-
Then you need either a cheque
for £25 made payable to the Family Friendly Churches Trust from your
church treasurer or to complete the standing order form in the
membership pack. Send the charter, audit and cheque (or Standing Order
form) to the trust at Wesley Manse, Town St., Upwell, Nr. Wisbech,
Cambs. PE14 9AD
The Membership Pack for Churches can be downloaded as a PDF
file and then printed and completed and
returned to the trust. It is best printed in borderless format.
Alternatively we can send you a
pack in the post. Simply complete the form below:
