The Family Friendly Churches Trust exists to help churches in the formidable task of becoming more open and attractive to children, young people and families. The truth is that the statistics back up what many in our traditional churches have long suspected; that the number of of children, young people and families have plummeted dramatically. Mike discovered thius during his sabbatical and also visited churches that were growing in numbers of children, teenagers and families.

He also believes that the worship life of a church is crucial and so since then he has worked tirelessly to help churches take a long hard look at their style and pattern of worship and ask the hard questions.

During his sabbatical Mike also noticed that family friendly churches made good use of modern technology so the trust wants to help churches make better use of IT equipment. As a Computer Science graduate he has laid his gifts at the feet of churches who wish to make use of this technology.

The trust is a Limited Company (no. 5222088) and a Charity (1106193) and has been trading since October 2004.  The trust is completely self funding and receives no major funding from any of the denominations.
